White Night Wedding swept 14 nominations for the EDDA awards. Reykjavik-Rotterdam received 10.
White Night Wedding, by Baltasar Kormákur, beats a record in amount of nominationa at the EDDA awards, the Icelandic TV and Film academy. The former record, held for 6 years by The Sea, was 12 nominations. Amongst the nominations were, Film of the year, Director of the year and both actor and actress in main role of the year.
Reykjavik-Rotterdam, by Oskar Jonasson, also produced by Blueeyes Productions, swept 10 nominations. Also nominated for the Film of the year, Director of the year and actor in main role.
